‘October Skies’ is a very showy strong low growing bushy type of native wildflower. It gets hundreds of daisy like flowers that vary from blue to lavender with burnt orange centers Sept-Oct. The foliage has a mound look to it with the tiny leaves varying from gray to green. This Aster is very attractive to butterflies and makes excellent cut flowers.
